After nearly 30 years of abandonment, we are thrilled to announce that the funding for restoration of entire "Casa Morgado do Esporão" and its conversion into a guest house was approved under the Alentejo 2020 funding scheme. The current prediction is for the work of restoration to be completed by the end of summer 2017. If all goes as planned, the house should be fully opened for business in September 2017. Meanwhile we are testing our business model with small scale operations that focus on advanced training and cultural activities, while offering charming accommodation for a limited number of guests.
